Alex Payne manages several mortgage focused mutual funds for Morgan Stanley Investment Management, notably the Calvert Mortgage Access Fund that seeks to promote homeownership in underserved communities. He has worked in fixed income markets since joining Goldman Sachs in 2007 shortly after graduating from Dartmouth College. In addition to his work with Famous Friends, Alex is a Trustee of Public Trusts of the Town of Lexington (MA), a member of the Community Nursery School finance committee, and a Little League baseball coach.

Mary Payne is a property manager and mom to three small children. She is a former Vice President at Goldman Sachs, specializing in financial operations and project management. Mary graduated from Georgetown University (MSB ‘08) and is an active member of the Alumni Admissions Program. When she’s not chasing her children around, she enjoys volunteering with five-and-under organizations and public schools in her community. Mary is a proud donor to Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast. She believes in the life-changing impact of homeownership on individuals, families and children.

Rev. Phil Kuntz is an Elder in Full Connection in the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Currently he serves as the Associate Minister at Main Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville, NC. He holds a BA from Sewanee: The University of the South and an MDiv from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is in his seventh year of parish ministry, having served in rural and suburban areas in small and large churches. Phil is a passionate preacher and teacher, and devotes much of his time to caring for the sick and elderly in his community.
